Future WARTHINK 035: RPG Scourge: 14-Hour FireFights Because U.S. Infantry is Out-Gunned (Rocketed)

See something WRONG with the picture below?

Great to Bad....

The only organic High Explosive (HE) firepower the U.S. ARMY/Mc infantry squad has is the puny 40mm grenade thru a launcher.

Hey!

It CAN launch a $4, 000 1x-time-use, drone!

“Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.”

--God, Almighty, Luke 11:52; King James Bible

To show the mortal FEAR Amerikans have of lawyers and being sued for all they're worth (organized, legalized robbery) by our litigious, evil-corrupted society, even the puny DUMMY 40mm had to have a WOKETARDED DISCLAIMER.

ROFLMAO!

The most commonly used projected grenade is the 40 millimeter (40mm) grenade. This grenade is also among the most commonly found UXO items. The 40mm grenade is about the same size and shape as a chicken egg, as shown in Figure 7. It contains high explosives and uses a variety of fuzes, including some of the most sensitive internal impact fuzing systems. Because of their relatively small size, 40mm grenades are easily concealed by vegetation. They are extremely dangerous and can explode if moved or handled.

"IF YOU DID NOT DROP IT, DO NOT PICK IT UP!"

****

YES, M3 MAAWS Carl Gustav 84mm RRs are available at a higher organizational level than the squad. WE ARE THE ONES WHO GOT BIG ARMY to follow 75th RANGER Regiment lead and do this!

USMIL belated AT/Assault weaponry upgrading at the urging of 1LT Mike Sparks and SFC Stan Crist:

84mm Carl Gustav: Argie Killer in the Falklands War...
Compare this palm-size warhead to a bullet trap, RIFLE HAND (stick) GRENADE which every Soldier/Para should have launched by no fuss live ball ammo:

Now compare these to the enemy's Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG)--a HUGE, devastatingly powerful HE warhead.

SIZE does matter on the battlefield in war.

AIRTRONICS makes an improved, more accurate "Amerikanski" RPG that we should buy and be a key weapon in a Mini-Base-of-Fire (MBOF) to fire supremacy-dominate, pin-down the enemy aka the FIRETeam B in the infantry rifle squad so MANEUVERTeam A can fire & move.

Notice every FIRETeam B Soldier/Para would sling his MBOF weapon (7.62mm NATO LMG RPG, .50 cal AMR--45" L, 20 lbs seems smallest COTS available--across his back...

Full-Sized M16 5.56mm AR with M203 40mm GL slung at Soldier's back

...or transport it in the team's All Terrain, All purpose Cart/Sled (ATACS)

...and has a Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) in at least the 5.56mm rifle cartridge--the French Para's MAT49 SMG design with the folding magazine well would be great in 5.56mm to reach 300m way beyond what it's 9mm Luger pistol cartridges can do when the MBOF is moving in/out of position to use its heavier weaponry.

"Lost Command" great LEADERSHIP movie taking place in Indo-China/Vietnam/Algeria Sub-National Conflicts (SNCs) adventure!

More MBOF details in our 2016 book, U.S. ARMY Joint Global Response Force (JGRF):

The ad hocery BS of disposable (M136 AT4, M72 LAAW etc.) rockets handed-out to be learned OJT in battle and not having a dedicated RPG Rocketeer who must become accurate and hit his targets--is not adequate. Moreover, the disposables can't be carried in a ready-to-fire condition but have to be unfolded etc. If you're pinned down, that ain't happening. Hence, the constant 14-hour M16 (M4) vs. AK47 (AKM) + RPG firefights because WE DON'T HAVE FIRE SUPERIORITY--what Vietnam war combat veterans know you need.

However, the RPG must be UNDERSTOOD--so unlike moron marines who killed themselves trying to fire a rocket without a booster charge and were assploded--it can be decisively used.

A Tail of 2x Rockets: One RIGHT, the other WRONG

RPG RIGHT: Rocket with BOOSTER CHARGE just below its launcher.

RPG WRONG: RPG WITHOUT BOOSTER CHARGE at the pic bottom.

Got it?

marines read several times; quiz tomorrow.

The RPG Genius: How it Works (or doesn't if USMCretarded)

The RPG brilliantly saves launcher weight making it feasible for every infantry squad to have 1x over heavier launchers that have to be wide for their warheads (90mm and Carl Gustav 84mm RRs, B300/Mk153 SMAW 83mm, 2.36" and 3.5" Bazookas etc.) by its huge warhead sticking out and only needing a minimalist, narrow 40mm tube to fire the 2x rocket motors. READ THAT AGAIN.

2x RPG rocket motors.

You MUST attach the BOOSTER CHARGE rocket motor as the 1st stage to the 2nd stage PROPELLANT CHARGE on the RPG warhead--or else it goes BOOM! at the launcher killing the moron(s) who tried it.

When the booster charge burns up, the 4x STABILIZING FINS pop out.

The PROPELLANT CHARGE pushes the warhead on to its target for about 1, 000 meters though effective reliable hit-the-target range-reach is 300 meters.

Retired SFOD-Delta aka CAG NCO Larry Vickers' RPG trainee has EYEPRO on to prevent flinching from launch smoke and has support elbow nested firmly into his torso: WHAT RIGHT LOOKS LIKE!
1x rocket on fire....
2x rockets on fire from the PROPELLANT CHARGE!
Back to the on-going PROPELLANT CHARGE push only....
It appears the PROPELLANT CHARGE has 2x stages, too...1st ignites after leaving launcher and last push from the Venturi tubes aft of the warhead...3x TOTAL rocket pushes!

Islamofucks realized the warheads self-destruct at 950 meters to air burst to assplode fragile, slow, easily-targeted DARK GREEN U.S. ARMY helicopters in BLUE daylight over Somalia in the tankless, RANGERs & (notoriously, non-existent) Delta Force 1993 "Blackhawk Down!" fiasco. This "crow" having to be "eaten" shouldn't stop us from LEARNING FROM OUR ENEMIES AND GETTING our own Amerikanski RPGs in every infantry rifle squad.

Transporting the RPG Launcher & It's Rockets/Booster Charges

The assembled RPG "round" is very LONG--an over 36" yardstick.

1:1 Scale "ModelVISION"!

To carry RPG yardsticks there is a quiver backpack holding 3x--but its itself sits high on your back making the Rocketeer a more easily-spotted target than non RPGists--though its away from his legs not impeding foot mobility and he can just have dumbasses hand him properly-assembled rounds, ready-to-fire without worries.

The disassembled RPG backpacks are IMHO better than the too-long quivers--but those involved must not be ad hocist dumbshits who instead know to assemble the booster charge to the propellant charge behind the warhead--before handing or loading into the launcher for the Rocketeer.

I need to re-watch John Milius' 1982 "Red Dawn" (Re-Make of the Adam West 1974 Yugoslav Partisan "Hell River" movie? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_River referenced by bitter against-his-mom, ingrate Tarantino in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood") to see what type of RPG backpack Charlie Sheen was carrying. RIP IRL bad-ass William Smith who played the very tough and demanding Russian VDV Spetsnaz Colonel in the movie. Sheen, whose best movie is "Navy SEALs" aside from Vietnam combat veteran, Oliver Stone's biographical "Platoon" was IRL terrified of Smith. Right, that he was! Smith was extremely powerful body-wise and won many weight-lifting competitions and was an USAF Korean war combat veteran. I thought the guy would live forever! Goes to show you ENTROPY aka TBATE--weakens us all and why we need to do John 3:16. I hope Smith did. I hated him killing Nick Nolte's character in "Rich Man, Poor Man" though, LOL.

I got the TBATE bad weather, water-resistant RPG backpack..
Notice the waist strap and side carry handle!
What RIGHT Looks Like ALMOST: Should be in MultiCam OCP, Scorpion etc. if there are water-resistant rubberized fabric for those colors???

1:1 Scale ModelVISIONING! the RPG

The superb 3D printed RPG I got has the pop-out fins but of course had to choose between a chunk BOOSTER CHARGE pre-burn-up or post-burn up. If you cut a paper towel roll to 10.5" and cut slots for the pop-out fins YOU CAN SIMULATE BOTH for more accurate WARPRAC instruction.

L

VOILA! Fins inside simulated BOOSTER CHARGE "chunk" of propellant

Cut 2x other paper towel rolls--or PVC plastic pipe--for the other booster charges.

Paint all 3x in the flat green/tan of realistic BOOSTER CHARGES.

PAINTED: Deja VOILA! All Over Again!

AirSoft RPGs? PROPguns?

Here is a 10-20% Undersized 3D Printed RPG Launcher & Warhead

Launcher is 32.5" long--when it needs to be at least 37.8" Long
With rocket, overall length is 46" long when it needs to be 51" long
We added a propellant charge to the 3D printed rocket and cut-out launcher insides to fit it
Multi-Cam CamoForm Wrapped...

As you can see from above, Matrix/Apple makes a 51" long with rocket, accurate RPG.

The weirdness/problem is it is intended for AirSoft--shooting plastic BBs or a 40mm dummy a short distance to bang against a vehicle to be declared "destroyed" if the receivee' is honest--always a problem in AirSoft.

If you bought the above for $280 you'd have to drill-out all the AirSoft firing/holding stuff to insert a realist, long 3D printed RPG rocket with propellant & booster charge.

Ugggh.

Firing the RPG

Gun Jesus Teaches RPG:

I don't see the hapless CIAkrainians lining up the RPG rocket "key" with the launcher as Ian Gun Jesus says at 12:25, WTFO?

U.S. ARMY TRADOC RPG MANUAL

CAVEAT: Shaped hollow charge, "Monroe Effect" IS a type of High Explosive (HE) warhead...

Dumbass (not Donbass!) CIA-coup created, Ukrainians firing RPG-7 and LAAW-kloneski RPG-22s...ain't going to happen if you're 1st incinerated in your air-filled, rubber-tired wheeled truck funeral pyre: THE BATTLE OF DEBALTSEVE vs. Russian separatist area (TFS) and precision (PDM) fires.

Also notice in the "training" video, the pussy Ukrainians often FLINCHING at the moment of RPG firing losing whatever aiming/sight picture they had...maybe wear EYEPROtection while firing RPGs to discourage flinching? This is why we must WAR PRACtice!! NOT Training! WARPRAC.

The look of FEAR!

Retired Delta Force (Wait! they don't exist!) NCO, Larry Vickers' men wear EYEPRO--notice LESS FLINCHING when firing RPGs....hmmmmm

Amerikanski RPGs (or captured enemy RPGs) can be safely fired from the M113 Gavin light tank's top cargo hatch.

Defeating the RPG: Passive & Active Protection Systems

RPG vs. M113 Gavin Infantry-Carrying Light Tank

Passive: RPG pre-detonation screening--can be ON the M113 Gavin light tracked, tank, too.

Active: RPG, ATGMs and tank main gun rounds thwarted by an anti-missile missile. Expensive--around $1M per vehicle. BUT NECESSARY! STOP WASTING TAX-PAYER $$$ MONEY ON CRAP VANILLA, APS-LESS, WHEELED DEATHTRAPS LIKE JLTVs, LAV-1 or LAV-3 Strykers etc. that kills/mutilates our sons/daughters!

Summary/Conclusion: We Can Be MECHANDOs! (Like the "Heroes" Song by David Bowie)

RIGHT: BOTH RPGs & Rifle (Hand) Grenades: Like the IDF Does!

Of course, fixing the infantry squad DOES NOT MEAN we can continue it to be FUBAR tank-less and don't have to LIGHT air-MECHANIZE it with M113A4 Super Gavins and/or M113A6 AmphiGavins with vehicle-level heavy firepower quality and quantities--like firefight-ending 30mm automatic cannon spitting out hundreds of HE shells out to 3km plus ATGMs beyond 4 km--which can paradrop from USAF C-130, C-17 fixed-wing transports or Roll-On/Roll-Off from inside CH-53K King Stallion Heavy Lift Helicopters to get to 720 degree Non-Linear Battlefields (720 NLB).
